Америкийн Монгол Судлалын Төвөөс зохион байгуулж буй “Соёлын Өв – Цуврал Семинар” нь 2022 оны III улиралд “МУЗЕЙН ЁС ЗҮЙ” агуулгын хүрээнд явагдах бөгөөд энэ улирлын эхний дугаар буюу Гадаадын музейн экспертийн лекц 7-р сарын 29-нд “Музейн ёс зүй” сэдвээр англи-монгол шууд орчуулгатайгаар та бүхэнд хүрэх гэж буйг дуулгахад таатай байна.
Илтгэлийн агуулга:
ICOM-аас боловсруулан гаргасан ёс зүйн баримт бичиг нь дэлхий дахинд музейн салбарынхны баримталдаг гол тулгуур баримт бичиг юм. ICOM-ийн Ёс зүйн байнгын хорооны гишүүн, EthCom-ийн (Ёс зүйн хорооны) гишүүн Стеф Шолтен илтгэлдээ энэ яг одоо дахин нэмэлт өөрчлөлт хийгдэж байгаа тус баримт бичгийн ач холбогдлын талаар ярих болно. Өнгөрсөн жилүүдэд Стеф их сургуулийн музей, цуглуулгаас эд зүйлсийг нөхөн сэргээх, буцаан олгох зааварчилгааг боловсруулах ажлыг удирдан явуулсан бөгөөд үүнийг жишээ болгон энэхүү лекц дээр ярилцах юм.
Зочин илтгэгч: Стеф Шолтен 2017 онд Глазгогийн их сургуулийн The Hunterian-д элссэн бөгөөд өмнө нь Амстердамын их сургуулийн өвийн цуглуулгын захирлаар ажиллаж байсан. Стеф нь соёлын салбарт 30 гаруй жил ажилласан туршлагатай музейн захирал, академич юм. Тэрээр олон улсад нэр хүндтэй, музейн цуглуулгын талаар өргөн мэдлэгтэй урлаг судлаач мэргэжилтэй. Нидерландад тэрээр Боловсрол, шинжлэх ухаан, соёлын яам, Үндэсний хамгааллын хүрээлэн, Эртний дурсгалын үндэсний музейд ажиллаж, Амстердамын их сургуулийн томоохон, чухал цуглуулга, музейг хариуцан ажиллаж байсан туршлагатай.
The American Center for Mongolian Studies is pleased to announce the expert talk of the “Cultural Heritage Colloquium” in the third quarter which will focus on “Museum Ethics”. The very first event will be a guest expert talk, titled “” on July 29th, 16 PM ULAT.
Lecture contents: For the museum sector globally, the ICOM Code of Ethics is the foundational document: https://icom.museum/en/resources/standards-guidelines/code-of-ethics/ In his talk Steph Scholten, who is a member of EthCom, ICOM’s standing Committee for Ethics, will discuss the importance of this document that is undergoing a process of revision at this moment, to make sure it is up-to-date and addresses current thinking. In the past years, Steph has led on the development of Guidance for Restitution and Return of Items from University Museums and Collections that he will discuss this as a case study
Guest lecturer: Steph Scholten joined The Hunterian at the University of Glasgow in 2017 and was previously Director of Heritage Collections at the University of Amsterdam. Steph is an experienced museum director and academic with over 30 years of experience in the cultural sector. He is an art historian by background with an international reputation and extensive knowledge of museum collections. In The Netherlands, he worked for the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, for the National Institute for Conservation, at the National Museum of Antiquities and was in charge of the extensive and important collections and museums of the University of Amsterdam.
