Young Researchers Workshop – International and Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Open Event.  All levels or researchers and academics welcome.

Collaborative research has had a long history in Mongolia.  But with the increasing number of foreign educated Mongolian academics, there is a new dynamic emerging around research and collaboration relationships.  Combine that with funding organizations focusing more on multinational and multi-disciplinary research, there is a need for all future researchers to adapt to new realities.  This workshop is geared to set the groundwork for future collaborative  research projects and begin building new research partnerships.

The primary workshop activity will be pairing off with someone from a different nationality and/or discipline to prepare a research project. We will be providing copies of application materials for various grants, if there is something you are working on or thinking of applying for, please bring that along!

Event will take place at the American Corner presentation room starting at 10 am till 3 pm.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided to participants.
