Ulaanbaatar City Bank is a commercial bank with headquarters in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. As of June 2006, the Bank had total assets of MNT 143,657,474,000. Profit before taxes was estimated as MNT 134,983,000.[1]

The bank was established as a commercial bank in July 1998, with the sole owner being "Ulaanbaatar Fund" Public Enterprise. Currently, the Bank is ranked among one of the Top 5 Banks in Mongolia.[2]

Ulaanbaatar City Bank offers various types of loan and savings products, and money transfers, payment settlement and leasing services. Since its inception, the Bank has tried to contribute to the city’s socioeconomic development by opening new branches and providing its customers with a full range of banking and financial services. At the end of 2004, the Ulaanbaatar City Bank and Mongol Daatgal LLc introduced Mongolia’s first Insured Savings account; the following year, the Bank insured Children’s savings accounts. All of the insurance costs are borne by the Bank. Furthermore, the Bank has introduced the latest IT technology developments, such as Internet and SMS banking, in order to satisfy its customers.[3]
