From Mongol Studies Online Reference
Humanities comprises academic disciplines that study the human condition or the world around us using a variety of observational and analytical methods that are often subjective or dependent on the perspective of the researcher. This is in contrast to empirical observation in the social and natural sciences in which the researcher endeavors to establish objective observational and analytical frameworks to explain social or natural phenomena from a universal perspective.
