NewCom was one of the first private companies established in 1993 after Mongolia transitioned to a market economy. It was founded by telecommunications engineers and introduced modern private telephone and mobile radio technology. NewCom continues doing business in telecommunications through its subsidiary Mobicom and has also branched out into retail, Financial services, information technology, real estate, and aviation. Today NewCom Group is one of the largest companies in Mongolia with about 1,000 employees.[1]

  • Clean Energy Company: Establishing a wind farm on Salkhit Mountain 70 kilometers southeast of Ulaanbaatar.
